The Chief Secretary of Telangana, Santhi Kumari, has directed officials to prioritize the process of allotting lands for the establishment of rice mills within the next four to five months. She held a meeting with officials from the Industries department to review progress on the creation of special food processing zones in Telangana. The Chief Secretary emphasized that the vision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is to transform the state into a hub for food and agriculture by setting up food processing zones based on the demand and feasibility in each district.
