Hyderabad: State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari has instructed district collectors to ensure enough irrigation water for Rabi crop cultivation in Telangana.

On Monday, she held a video conference with all district collectors from the Dr. BR Ambedkar Secretariat. During the meeting, they discussed Rabi season crop cultivation, the performance of residential schools, and efforts to eliminate single-use plastic.

She noted that although the cultivated area has increased compared to last year, water availability remains sufficient. She advised officials to take necessary precautions for a successful Rabi season. Additionally, she stressed the importance of carefully managing power and water supply over the next ten days, stating that the current power situation is stable.
