Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar launched development works worth Rs 22.77 crore in Pinapaka constituency in Kothagudem district on Monday. These works include high level bridges, BT roads, and a new RTO office building in different villages of the constituency. The minister asked the public to support the BRS government, which has done many development works for the welfare of the poor.
During his visit, the minister toured Pinapaka constituency with Government Whip and BRS district president Rega Kantha Rao. He also addressed a public meeting in Gondigudem village of Aswapuram mandal, where he praised Kantha Rao for his initiative in developing remote areas in the constituency. The minister also spoke about the Chief Minister’s efforts to build Telangana society in all spheres.
The minister responded to comments made by former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and other opposition parties, saying that the public will teach those who dream of deposing Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and bringing down the BRS government a befitting lesson.
The minister also highlighted some of the government’s achievements, such as providing 24/7 electricity across the state, promoting Telangana with grants, and ensuring access to Godavari water for use in the state. He also mentioned that all Anganwadi centres in the state served good rice to pregnant women and children in government schools.
Finally, the minister recalled the Telangana government’s efforts to assist flood victims during last year’s Godavari floods and provide medical care and supplies to people impacted by Covid-19.
