The Minister for Energy, G Jagadish Reddy, thinks it’s important to protect crop cultivation and prevent natural disasters from harming the second crop. The Chief Minister KCR decided to promote continuous crop cultivation, and Minister Jagdish Reddy was asked to teach farmers in Suryapet district how to do it. He even went to his own hometown of Nagaram to participate in the farming activities with some government officials.
Minister Jagdish Reddy advised farmers to start the first crop before the end of a certain period. Chief Minister KCR decided to use this traditional method to protect against natural disasters. The Minister worried that there were some misunderstandings about this method, but it was already being used in other places like Kodad, Hujurnagar, Miryalaguda, Nagarjunasagar constituencies, and Jakkal of Nizamabad district.
Minister Jagdish Reddy hopes that by working with farmers, they can make sure that the second crop is safe and that there is a lot of food to eat. He even planted some paddy seeds himself on his farm to show how important it is to use good techniques for farming.
