Two Crocodiles Escape After Truck Accident in Telangana

The truck was carrying eight crocodiles, two white elephants, two tigers, and other animals. The accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into cement pillars and veer off the road.

Following the crash, two crocodiles escaped into the nearby wilderness. Local police and forest officials quickly responded to the situation. Fortunately, the escaped crocodiles were soon recaptured and secured back in the truck. No other animals managed to escape.

Authorities expressed relief that the situation was handled quickly, preventing any further danger. Both tigers remained safely contained in their cages throughout the incident.

To manage the scene, officials blocked off the area and used cranes to lift the overturned truck back onto the highway. Once all the animals were confirmed safe, a new truck was arranged to continue transporting them.

The animals were being moved from the Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park in Patna to the Bannerghatta National Park in Bengaluru. The Central Zoo Authority oversees such transfers to ensure the safe movement of wildlife between zoos in India.
