    CPM State Secretary John Wesley Urges Leaders to Focus on Public Issues

    Jogulamba Gadwal: Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) State Secretary John Wesley has called on party leaders in Jogulamba Gadwal district to step up efforts to address public issues in the region. He emphasized the need to intensify struggles to improve the lives of people in Nadigadda.

    The statement was made during a grand felicitation event held at MB Bhavan in Hyderabad, where district leaders honored John Wesley for his recent election as the new State Secretary of CPM. Addressing the gathering, Wesley highlighted the decades of hardships faced by locals under the dominance of upper-caste landlords and stressed the importance of the CPM’s leadership in bringing about change.

    John Wesley urged CPM leaders to expand public struggles and work toward strengthening the party and its allied organizations. He underlined the importance of addressing critical issues faced by farmers, especially cotton growers, and resolving long-pending challenges related to irrigation projects and reservoirs.

    He also pointed out the need to fight for improvements in education and healthcare, sectors that have been neglected for years. Additionally, Wesley advocated for uniting Bahujan communities and partnering with secular forces to create effective strategies for tackling socio-economic struggles.

    Key Leaders Attend the Event

    The event was attended by several prominent CPM leaders, including District Secretary A. Venkataswamy and district committee members Repalle Devadas, G. Raju, Paranjyothi, Maddileti, Uppair Narasimha, Eedanna, and Ramesh. Other leaders such as Thimmappa, Vijay, and Kareppa were also present to show their support.

    The gathering served as a platform to discuss ways to empower the people of Nadigadda and strengthen the party’s role in addressing public concerns across the region.
