The CPI, which has joined forces with the Congress for the upcoming Assembly elections, is determined to work towards defeating the ‘corrupt’ BRS and the ‘communal’ BJP. At a meeting in Warangal on Saturday, CPI State Secretariat Member Takkalapally Srinivas Rao urged party members to support the Congress candidate Konda Surekha in the Warangal East constituency.

Srinivas Rao stated that both the BJP at the national level and the BRS at the state level have made life difficult for the common people with their policies that go against their interests. He mentioned that the people are unhappy with the BRS government because it has failed to meet their expectations. He confidently predicted that the BRS will face defeat in the upcoming elections.
