Mynampally Hanmantha Rao’s son, Mynampally Rohit, joining the Congress has caused a local stir. Kantha Reddy Tirupati Reddy, the Medak District Congress president, resigned from the party and his position due to his opposition to Rohit’s inclusion. In a letter, Tirupati Reddy expressed disappointment that hardworking party workers like him are not valued in the party. He also criticized the party for giving tickets based on wealth rather than recognizing services and sacrifices made for the Congress. However, Tirupati Reddy did not mention which party he plans to join. The Congress party has not yet responded to this development.
