Continental Hospitals has become the first healthcare institution in India to launch a full-scale AI program for early cancer detection. This initiative is a collaboration with top global organizations, including MIT and the Mayo Clinic.
The program focuses on detecting breast, lung, and pancreatic cancers at an early stage. It is led by Dr. Guru N. Reddy and aims to lower cancer-related deaths while also reducing treatment costs.
So far, more than 1,500 patients have benefited from AI-based imaging tests. The program was introduced in Hyderabad and represents a major step forward in Indian healthcare.
By using advanced AI technology, the initiative makes early cancer diagnosis more accurate and accessible. This could potentially save thousands of lives and improve cancer treatment outcomes across the country.
