    Foundation Stone Laid for Health Sub-Centre in Kalwarala Village

    A new Health Sub-Centre is set to be built in Kalwarala village, located in the Veepanagandla mandal of Kollapur constituency. This marks a significant step forward in improving healthcare services for the area. Until now, residents had to travel to Kollapur even for minor medical issues. The project is being funded with Rs 20 lakh under the 15th Finance Commission and is being carried out under the guidance of local MLA and Excise and Tourism Minister, Jupally Krishna Rao.

    The foundation stone-laying ceremony, also known as Bhoomi Puja, was conducted by Veepanagandla Mandal Hospital Civil Surgeons, Dr. Vamshi and Dr. Rajasekhar, along with Nagarkurnool District Tourism Officer, Narasimha. During the event, officials assured the community that the construction would be completed within three months, ensuring that the healthcare facility will soon be operational to serve local medical needs.

    Villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the initiative, highlighting how the Health Sub-Centre would provide easier access to essential healthcare services. One resident shared, “This initiative, made possible through the support of Minister Jupally, is a welcome development for our village.”

    The event saw active participation from various community members, including contractor Prakash, Panchayati Raj engineers Mastan, Vijay, and Anil, village ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) Sunitha, as well as local elders and youth. Their collective presence underscored the community’s enthusiasm and support for this much-needed project.
