    Son of Police Officer Shines in International Karate Championship

    Hanamkonda: The son of a police officer has made his mark on the global stage by excelling in an international karate championship held in Goa.

    Sai Vamshi, the son of Tamil Anandan, a head constable at the police training center in Madikonda, showcased his skills by winning two medals. He secured a silver medal in the sparring category and a bronze medal in the kata category, earning recognition in the international karate arena.

    To honor his achievements, Commissioner of Police (CP) Amber Kishore Jha felicitated Sai Vamshi during a grand ceremony at the Police Commissionerate office on Wednesday. The event highlighted the young athlete’s hard work and dedication.

    While congratulating Sai Vamshi, the CP encouraged police personnel to nurture and support their children’s interests in sports. He also commended officers for balancing their demanding duties while prioritizing their children’s education and athletic goals.
