Bhandrachalam: Tellam Venkata Rao, the MLA of Bhadradri Kothagudem District Bhadrachalam, has officially joined the Congress party. This happened in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
Venkatarao, who won as an MLA from BRS party and is a disciple of Minister Ponguleti, had been trying to join the Congress party since his victory. Recently, he participated in a Congress party program with Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao in Mahabubabad.
Dr. Venkatarao was also seen on stage at a meeting with Rahul Gandhi in Tukkuguda. During this event, he invited Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy to join the Congress party by wearing a scarf in front of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
