The Congress party is planning a big meeting in Nalgonda for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They recently had a meeting to talk about choosing candidates and addressing political issues. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy talked about the Kaleshwaram collapse issue.
The party has a long list of leaders who want to be candidates, so they are working on selecting the best ones. The Pradesh Election Committee, led by TPCC President and CM Revanth Reddy, discussed the list of candidates for different areas. The chosen candidates will be sent to the Central Election Committee of the Congress Party. The party wants to keep up the momentum from the assembly elections and win many Lok Sabha seats in Telangana. CM Revanth Reddy believes they can win 15 seats.
But it’s not easy to choose candidates with so many leaders interested. There are 309 leaders who want to compete in the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana. Minister Komatireddy Venkatareddy, a member of the Pradesh Election Committee, said they will only give tickets to those who have a good chance of winning. They also considered names of people who didn’t apply for tickets. The Congress PEC is committed to working hard to win MP seats and wants to get more than 13 seats. They also talked about other political issues during the meeting.
