BRS working President and Telangana IT and Industry minister KT Rama Rao will meet senior Congress leader Ponnala Lakshmaiah today. They want to invite Lakshmaiah to join the ruling BRS.

Lakshmaiah left the Congress because he felt that the party did not give him enough importance. He accused TPCC President A Revanth Reddy and the party high command of not listening to his demand for more tickets for the Backward Classes in the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana. Lakshmaiah has already praised BRS Chief K Chandrashekhar Rao for giving importance to BCs in government appointments.
