Congress is hoping for cross voting in BRS and BJP stronghold Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming general elections in Hyderabad. The ruling party is trying to shift the BRS vote bank to support Congress candidates in areas like Chevella, Malkajgiri, Medak, Karimnagar, and Mahbubnagar.

Party sources reveal that Congress leaders, including TPCC president and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, are holding meetings with party in-charges of all Lok Sabha segments to analyze winning prospects and challenges. Many BRS MLAs were supposed to join Congress earlier but postponed their plans due to political developments during the election campaign.

Revanth Reddy has prepared strategies for each Lok Sabha segment to ensure cross voting in favor of Congress candidates. The party is facing tough competition from BJP in Mahbubnagar, Malkajgiri, and Karimnagar. Congress is working hard to attract BRS leadership in these areas and secure their vote bank.
