    Priyanka Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Congress Party, addressed a public meeting in Khanapur. She promised the Telangana youth that if her party comes to power in Telangana, they will create 2 lakh jobs. Priyanka Gandhi criticized the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party, led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), for not addressing the issue of unemployment and accused them of looting the state.

    In her speech, Priyanka Gandhi also pledged to waive farmers’ loans and improve the agricultural sector with better programs than the current Dharani portal. She accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of colluding with big companies and claimed that both the BJP and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) were working together to defeat the Congress Party. Additionally, she promised subsidized gas cylinders and free bus facilities for women in Telangana.

    Priyanka Gandhi criticized the attacks on opposition leaders by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), stating that these tactics were used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to target the Congress Party.

    Lastly, Priyanka Gandhi praised her grandmother, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, for her work benefiting tribal and indigenous communities. She mentioned that even after forty years since her death, Indira Gandhi is still revered by the people.
