The Hyderabad District Congress Committee (DCC) has announced a financial package of Rs 5,000 crore to support the Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSUDA). This fund will be used for new projects and additional manpower. The DCC President, Sameer Waliullah, stated that their main focus is to revitalize the Old City area through investments and infrastructural changes. They plan to expand training programs by providing more funds and staff to SETWIN. They also aim to establish a passport office, essential government departments, and a super-specialty hospital in the Old City. Education is another priority for the Congress, and they plan to establish an international school in the area. The healthcare infrastructure will also be improved by upgrading hospitals and enhancing medical services for the community.
