    The Congress Party has announced its candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections. In the GHMC area, Kota Neelima will be running against Talasani Srinivas Yadav, T Vajresh Yadav will be challenging Ch Malla Reddy, and Adam Santosh Kumar will be competing with T Padma Rao Goud. Neelima, the wife of AICC leader Pawan Khera, has been campaigning vigorously in her constituency. Vajresh Yadav and Adam Santhosh Kumar have also been actively engaging with voters in their respective areas.

    Former BRS leader Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, who recently joined the Congress, will be running for the first time from Malkajgiri against Marri Rajasekhar Reddy. The Congress has released its first list of 13 candidates for constituencies within the GHMC limits. Familiar faces like M Anjan Kumar Yadav, Mohammed Feroz Khan, and Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajri are among the candidates. Mahila Congress State president Mogili Sunitha is also contesting from Goshamahal.

    In a strategic move, the Congress has decided to field non-Muslim candidates from the Old City to appeal to Hindu voters. K Ravi Raju, Boya Nagesh, and Shaikh Akbar will be representing the party in their respective constituencies. The goal is to increase the party’s vote share and shape political dynamics for the general elections.
