Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, a politician, has announced that he will not run for election in Siddipet unless his party tells him to. However, he believes that this is unlikely to happen. He is currently running for office in Nalgonda because he feels a sense of duty to the public.
Reddy has also expressed his desire to visit Karnataka with BRS leaders in order to observe the implementation of government programs in that state. He has arranged for a helicopter to transport the leaders and has invited anyone to come and see the welfare schemes being provided to the people of Karnataka. If the people express dissatisfaction with these schemes, Reddy has promised to resign from his position in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India’s Parliament.
Reddy has accused the BRS leaders of lying and criticized the government for accumulating a debt of Rs. 5 lakh crores without adequately providing for the welfare of the people. He claims that only members of Chief Minister KCR’s family have benefited over the past nine years and that even KCR’s own caste has not seen development in Telangana. Reddy believes that many leaders are joining the Congress party in order to put an end to KCR’s dictatorial rule. He has also called on KCR to disclose who has benefited from the Dharani scheme, a land registration program.
