Hyderabad: Congress MP M Anil Kumar Yadav has donated Rs 25 lakh from the MPLADS fund to HYDRA. He handed over the cheque to HYDRA’s commissioner, A V Ranganath, during a meeting in the commissioner’s office on Thursday. The MP expressed his full support for HYDRA’s ongoing efforts.
Speaking to the media afterward, Yadav urged the officials to expand HYDRA’s operations throughout the State. He emphasized the importance of protecting water bodies and ensuring a clean and green environment for future generations.
Yadav also criticized the previous BRS government, led by KCR, for neglecting water bodies. He claimed that during KCR’s ten-year rule, there was widespread destruction and encroachment of lakes.
The MP praised the current administration under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He highlighted Reddy’s initiatives, including addressing the State’s drug problem, as visionary. Yadav expressed confidence that these initiatives would yield significant results in the near future.
