    In Hyderabad, the PCC’s Election Management Committee filed a complaint against rival parties like BJP, BRS, and AIMIM. The committee, led by former MLC K Dileep Kumar, met with Vikas Raj, Chief Electoral Officer, to submit a memorandum.

    The committee asked the Election Commission to take action against leaders such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP leaders, former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his son KTR, MLA, nephew Harish Rao, BRS leaders, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, and other MIM leaders for making provocative speeches.

    They also requested the deployment of paramilitary forces and police in sensitive areas during elections. The committee mentioned issues like voter bribery with money and liquor, suggesting a 10-day liquor sales ban before elections to prevent this.

    Concerns were raised about potential election fraud, impersonation, and voter intimidation in polling stations across the state. The committee specifically mentioned the risk of violence, booth capturing, and rigging in the Hyderabad parliamentary segment.

    The CEO assured the committee that all concerns raised would be addressed to ensure a peaceful and orderly Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
