Mahabubnagar: A controversy is growing after Minister Konda Surekha was targeted by trolls on social media. This has caused outrage, with BRS leaders KT Rama Rao and Harish Rao being urged to apologize.
Dharur Ravi, the social media coordinator for the Congress in Gadwal, spoke out against the derogatory posts. He said the incident is not just an insult to Minister Surekha, but to all women in Telangana.
Ravi accused BRS supporters of acting in a “paranoid” manner and disrespecting a woman who holds an important position in the government. He revealed that Congress workers plan to collect evidence of the trolling and file complaints at police stations throughout the state.
“This kind of behavior is unacceptable. We will not stop until those responsible are punished,” Ravi declared. He also criticized BRS leaders, calling their actions cowardly and warning that such attacks on women leaders will have consequences.
The Congress leaders have demanded that KT Rama Rao apologize to Minister Surekha.
