Hyderabad: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy recently addressed the issue of the potential demolition of BRS working president K T Rama Rao’s (KTR) alleged farmhouse. He confirmed that the Hyderabad authorities, known as HYDRA, were taking action against buildings that were found to be violating regulations.
During a conversation with media personnel, the Minister shared that he had personally visited the farmhouse in Janwada. He recalled driving there himself to examine the construction. Venkat Reddy also took the opportunity to mock KTR’s claim that the BRS would return to power in the future.
Venkat Reddy suggested that instead of focusing on politics, KTR should be more concerned about the health of his father, former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He expressed concern over the deteriorating health of the BRS chief. Moreover, he accused the BRS of planning to merge with the BJP, hinting that talks were already underway.
At Gandhi Bhavan, another political figure, Mahesh Kumar Goud, also spoke to the media. He accused KTR of lying to avoid responsibility for the Janwada farmhouse issue. Goud asserted that the land on which the farmhouse stands is registered in the name of KTR’s wife, Shailima. He challenged KTR to allow the authorities to demolish the farmhouse, which he claimed was built on the Full Tank Level (FTL) of water bodies. Goud emphasized that police records clearly show that the farmhouse belongs to KTR.
