    Congress High Command Unanimously Finalizes Names of 50 Candidates

    The Congress High command is working quickly to announce the candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections. The Election Commission of India is expected to announce the schedule for Telangana Assembly elections next week. The Central Screening committee and Telangana Screening committee, led by TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy, have been holding meetings to finalize the candidates’ names.

    Many senior leaders like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Damodar Raja Narasimha, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, Prem Sagar Rao, Shabbir Ali, Sitakka, and CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka have already been finalized as candidates.

    Recently joined Congress leaders Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Tummala Nageshwar Rao, and M Hanumantha Rao’s names are also included in the first list of candidates that will be announced soon after the EC issues a notification.

    The party’s high command has not yet made a decision on finalizing some senior leaders like P Laxmaiah, Madhu Yashki Goud, P Prabhakar, and Renuka Choudhary due to local political equations.

    The party is planning to announce all 119 candidates at once. They want to hold talks with other disappointed ticket aspirants before announcing the candidates to avoid rebel threats and shifting loyalties to other parties during this crucial Election time.
