    Congress senior vice president Mallu Ravi filed a complaint with the Election Commission against former Minister K T Rama Rao for making disrespectful remarks about the Congress’s MLC candidate during a party meeting in Choutuppal.

    Ravi demanded strong action against KT Rama Rao for calling the Congress candidate ‘palli batani’, implying that he was inferior to BRS’s BITS Pilani candidate. He criticized Rao for using derogatory language against the INC party candidate Teenmaar Mallanna alias Chintapandu Naveen Kumar.

    Ravi also pointed out that Rao compared the election as a contest between BITS Pilani and ‘Palli Batani’, which he found offensive and disrespectful to all graduates of OU and KU universities.

    The Congress MP candidate from Nagarkurnool urged the Election Commission to take stern action against KTR for his disrespectful remarks towards Teenmaar Mallanna during the election campaign.
