The Hyderabad District Congress Committee (DCC) President, Sameer Waliullah, recently held a press conference at the historic Charminar as part of the All India Congress Committee’s nationwide initiative. The press conference was attended by several senior leaders, including Charminar Incharge Advocate Mujeeb Ullah Shareef, TPCC General Secretary C Srinivas, and Hyderabad Mahila Congress President Tahseen Fatima.

During the press conference, Sameer Waliullah condemned the Modi Government for allegedly attempting to suppress dissent and corruption through the manipulation of government agencies such as the ED, CBI, and UAPA. He cited examples of opposition leaders, activists, and journalists being targeted with fabricated cases and intimidation tactics as part of a broader strategy to safeguard the government’s interests and conceal its misdeeds.

Sameer Waliullah also highlighted the alleged relationship between PM Modi and Gautam Adani’s conglomerate. He cited media reports claiming that over half of the FDI into Adani’s conglomerate originated from offshore entities connected to his family. He challenged the BJP Government to address Rahul Gandhi’s questions regarding the source of funding for Rs. 23,000 crore and suggested that the Modi Government’s relationship with Adani may be more intricate than it seems.

In conclusion, Sameer Waliullah stressed upon the need for unity against the Modi Government’s alleged suppression of dissent and corruption. He urged all opposition parties to come together to fight against these issues and work towards a better future for the country.
