Adam Santosh Kumar, the Congress Party candidate, believes that the failures of the BRS government will lead to his victory. During his padayatra in Tarnaka Division, he received a warm welcome from the people. He expressed that the people of Secunderabad are disappointed with the BRS rule and are turning towards the Congress party. Kumar also mentioned that people were deceived in the name of Dalit Bandu and BC Bandu.

According to Kumar, the constituents are ready to vote for the Congress party as their faith in the governance of the BRS party has dwindled. He promised to address all the problems in the constituency once he comes to power.
