The Congress party maintained its strong presence in districts like Nalgonda, Bhongir, Khammam, Mahabubabad, and Warangal during the recent Lok Sabha elections. The party secured significant victories in these areas, similar to its performance in the Assembly elections.

In Nalgonda, Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy won with a record-breaking majority of over 5.5 lakh votes. Meanwhile, in Khammam, Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy emerged victorious with a majority of more than 4.5 lakh votes.

However, the party faced setbacks in surrounding constituencies like Hyderabad, Chevella, Malkajgiri, and Secunderabad. Despite focusing their efforts on districts like Mahbubnagar, Medak, Nizamabad, Adilabad, and Karimnagar, the Congress leadership could not secure victories in these areas.
