Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of BRS is working on a ‘Master Strategy’ to counter the opposition parties and prevent them from poaching members of the ruling party. The BRS believes that it cannot take the opposition lightly this time, as they are more active and aggressive. They anticipate a tough fight from the Congress party in some constituencies, especially in Khammam and Nalgonda districts. The BJP is also focusing on certain areas that they believe could be advantageous for them.
To counter the opposition, KCR is planning to implement a new action plan at the end of July. This plan will include constituency-specific policies and programs based on local conditions. KCR is studying the political challenges in each assembly segment and working with state leaders, district ministers, and MLAs to prepare a plan of action. The BRS will criticize the BJP and the Central government for failing to help the new state. They will also take on the Congress party, explaining how they have been hindering government development programs.
The party leadership will also reach out to disgruntled leaders whose survey reports were not up to the mark, ensuring that they do not switch loyalties. A special team of leaders will be assigned to counter the opposition on a daily basis.
