Hyderabad: The Chairman of Telangana’s Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Commission, M Kodanda Reddy, has blamed the leaders of the BRS and BJP for not securing enough funds from the central government for Telangana. He criticized the opposition parties for attacking the Chief Minister over his frequent visits to the national capital.

Speaking to the media, Kodanda Reddy accused both parties of misleading people about the crop loan waiver. He explained that despite challenges, the state government has been working hard to implement the loan waiver scheme. He acknowledged delays in waivers for some eligible farmers due to technical issues but pointed out that the Agriculture Department has already resolved many applications.

Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah also questioned why the BRS leaders were making an issue out of the Chief Minister’s efforts. He highlighted that the Chief Minister was working for the state’s development by meeting Union Ministers in Delhi. Ilaiah further noted that unlike former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, who stayed mostly at his farmhouse, Revanth Reddy, regardless of party differences, has been meeting national leaders for the betterment of Telangana.
