G Niranjan, the Chairman of PCC’s Election Commission Coordination Committee, has filed a complaint with the Election Commission (EC) regarding Rythu Bandhu. He has accused Minister T Harish Rao of distorting the facts mentioned in the complaint letter.
According to Niranjan, the letter to the EC did not ask for the withdrawal of permission granted to Rythu Bandhu. The only request was to impose restrictions on its use in the election campaign by BRS leaders. The EC had already implemented this rule while allowing Rythu Bandhu.
Niranjan claims that Harish Rao violated the rules of the Election Commission by promoting BRS in public meetings. He believes that Harish Rao is to blame for this setback and demands an apology to the Telangana farmers instead of blaming Congress leaders for his mistakes.
