Former minister Pushpa Leela claimed that the BJP is trying to start riots in Hyderabad. She spoke at a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, saying the BJP wants to divide people along religious lines for political gain.
Pushpa Leela blamed the BJP for causing communal violence in Medak town and said all BJP leaders should be held accountable for disrupting peace in Telangana.
She also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not accepting the challenge from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to hold elections with ballot papers instead of EVMs. Pushpa Leela expressed concerns about the reliability of EVMs and mentioned that former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Bhagel believed EVMs contributed to his defeat.
She urged people to be vigilant and not let the BJP’s tactics create unrest in Hyderabad.
