    Hyderabad: PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud has criticized both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing them of trying to block the Musi rejuvenation project.

    While speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, the PCC president targeted BJP Telangana unit President and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy. He claimed that Reddy’s recent visit to the Musi riverbed was nothing more than a “photo opportunity.”

    Goud pointed out that before Kishan Reddy’s visit, the area was sprayed with mosquito repellents and insecticides to make it look better. He challenged Reddy by saying that if he truly wants to understand the conditions there, he should stay near the Musi River for three months.

    “Our Chief Minister has already thrown this challenge to Kishan Reddy, and I’m willing to join him. Let us live by the Musi River for three months and see the health problems of the people firsthand,” Goud stated.

    Mahesh Kumar Goud also accused Kishan Reddy of using the Musi River issue to assist the BRS, whose popularity is reportedly decreasing. According to Goud, whenever the BRS faces political trouble, Kishan Reddy steps in to help. He alleged that both parties are working together to prevent the development of Telangana.
