Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is making changes to state policies introduced between 2014 and 2023. He plans to scrap many policies from the previous government and introduce at least a dozen new ones. The latest decision includes changing TS to TG and adopting a new Telangana song with music by Keeravani.
Additionally, a new Telangana Talli statue will be erected, and new policies related to Industry, Education, Health, Agriculture, Local Bodies development, Welfare, Revenue generation, and real estate promotion will be finalized by the Congress government. The focus is on improving infrastructure in government schools and promoting education in the government sector with the involvement of self-help groups.
A new industrial policy will replace TSiPASS to attract investments and boost the MSME sector. The Medical and Health wing will be revamped, with increased coverage under the Aarogyasri scheme and remodeling of health schemes for more benefits. The Rythu Bandhu scheme will be replaced with Rythu Bharosa.
Changes will be made to existing local bodies Acts for better fund utilization and delegation of powers to elected representatives. Welfare schemes will be implemented through ‘Praja Palana’ with new ration cards issued to eligible candidates. After the Lok Sabha election results, the Chief Minister plans to bring in more reforms and make an impact on important issues for the benefit of the state.
