Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Spokesperson Kalva Sujatha criticized BJP national vice-president DK Aruna for making baseless comments about Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Kalva Sujatha spoke at a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday, claiming that DK Aruna had not contributed to the development of Palamuru district despite her long political career, which had led to her family amassing wealth through politics.

Kalva Sujatha challenged DK Aruna, who had served as a minister in the Congress and as an MLA, to explain what she had done for Palamuru district. She also pointed out that despite DK Aruna’s position as a BJP national leader with connections to Central government officials, there was no evidence of any significant contribution to Palamuru district since joining the BJP.

The Congress leader accused the BJP government of neglecting Mahabubnagar district for ten years, alleging that DK Aruna had failed to secure National status for the Palamuru Rangareddy irrigation project from the Union government. Kalva Sujatha declared that DK Aruna did not deserve the support of voters in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and predicted that the people would reject the BJP at the polls.
