Hyderabad Congress candidate Sameer Waliullah accused AIMIM and BJP of working together to keep their power in the city. He said AIMIM never puts up candidates in the GoshaMahal area, which is part of Hyderabad’s Lok Sabha seat. This helps BJP keep control in certain areas and creates division for political reasons.

Sameer also criticized the BJP government for targeting opposition leaders while leaving AIMIM alone. He said that media outlets supporting BJP give a lot of coverage to AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi. This benefits both parties by using communal tensions to stay in power.
