The polling for the Karimnagar Parliament seat has ended and results will be out on June 4. The candidates from the main political parties who campaigned for a fortnight are confident of victory. They are analyzing the information collected by their activists to predict the polling pattern. Sitting MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar from BJP, former MP Boinapalli Vinod Kumar from BRS, and Congress candidate Velichala Rajender Rao are in the race.

The candidates are tallying votes by divisions and villages, collecting information on how the votes were cast in their favor compared to opponents. They are also consulting with assembly level leaders and mandal level leaders to strategize. Party leaders are gathering information from intelligence officers and making calculations based on the 2019 elections.

While BJP is confident that Modi’s development initiatives will help them win, Congress believes their welfare schemes and future guarantees will secure victory. BRS leaders are counting on anti-government sentiment against the other parties and the development during their tenure to secure a win.

The campaign for the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat saw active participation from key leaders of the three parties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Revanth Reddy, and former CM KCR all lent their support to the respective candidates. Despite rigorous campaigning and high spending, the candidates are optimistic about their chances of winning.

Analysts, who accurately predicted the results of previous elections, are facing confusion this time due to the calm and silent polling atmosphere. The candidates are also considering factors such as development projects, religious initiatives, and women voters’ preferences in making their predictions.
