    Hyderabad:
The Ritam Digital Foundation held an awareness conference in Hyderabad on Saturday. The conference focused on the Waqf Board and the Sanatana Dharma Board.

Raja Vardhan Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana convener for Hindu issues, raised concerns about temple lands. He mentioned that lands belonging to temples are currently controlled by the government.

In contrast, he pointed out that lands belonging to mosques and churches are managed by their respective religious organizations.

High Court senior advocate and legal researcher Vishwaprasad also spoke at the event. He said that some of the country’s problems come from flawed laws. He explained that many properties claimed by the Waqf Board lack proper evidence, but they are still being claimed because of religious prayers. Vishwaprasad added that the law was originally meant to protect disputed properties.
