    The RPF Inter-Divisional Badminton Tournament 2024, organized by Railway Protection Force, Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway, has recently concluded. The tournament took place at the Multipurpose Indoor Stadium, Railway Sports Complex Grounds.

    Six teams from Headquarters, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, and Guntur divisions participated in the championship. The competition featured four categories: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Men’s Singles (aged above 45 years), and Men’s Doubles (aged above 45 years).

    The matches were played in knockout rounds, with Headquarters winning both the Men’s Singles and Doubles titles. Additionally, Headquarters secured the Men’s Singles title for those above 45 years, while Guntakal Division claimed victory in the Doubles category for that same age group.

    Aroma Singh, IG-Principal Chief Security Commissioner, SCR, expressed that events like the badminton tournament help uplift the spirits of RPF staff and enhance their dedication to the organization.
