The 8th annual Babul Eco Film Festival (BEFF) was held in Hyderabad from June 1 to 5, organized by Babul NGO led by Gangadhar Panday. The festival aims to raise awareness about environmental issues through green film screenings, games, and activities.

A total of 18 short films and 43 long eco-films from 29 countries were selected out of over 100 submissions by a jury. Attendees enjoyed a variety of eco-cinema that explored different environmental challenges and solutions.

The festival featured interactive eco-activities such as EcoShoot, EcoCartoon, EcoDoctor, EcoFit, and FunDuChallenge to engage participants in a fun and educational way.

BEFF focused on promoting LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) and supported the theme of World Environment Day 2024 – ‘Our Land. Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration.’ The event encouraged attendees to adopt sustainable practices and take responsibility for protecting the environment.
