    Justice Sujoy Paul, the Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority, spoke about the importance of mediation laws for resolving social issues. He addressed this topic during a meeting with volunteers in Kamareddy on Saturday.

    Justice Paul mentioned that community volunteers in Kamareddy district will be organized experimentally and given special training in mediation. He pointed out that some people in villages get angry and choose to go to court due to a lack of understanding. Problems that could be solved through friendly discussions often end up as police cases.

    He encouraged community mediation volunteers to work effectively in the State to solve problems. Justice Paul highlighted that many cases have been resolved through mediation centers in Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.

    High Court Judge and Kamareddy district Administrative Judge, Justice J Srinivas Rao, also spoke at the meeting. He noted that a social worker in Telangana believes community mediation volunteers should resolve disputes in the presence of respected individuals. He added that many people waste time and money going to court for the rest of their lives.
