The Telangana government has set up a committee to create eco-tourism circuits in the state. A meeting was held at the Secretariat to discuss the Eco-Tourism Policy, focusing on tourism development and forest protection. Minister for Forest Konda Surekha chaired the meeting, which included state officials, environmental experts, tourism industry leaders, and wildlife NGOs. The goal is to develop a sustainable eco-tourism strategy that balances tourism growth with forest conservation.

The policy aims to make Telangana a top eco-tourism destination by utilizing its natural landscapes and biodiversity. Surekha highlighted the importance of linking wildlife sanctuaries, forests, and natural reserves to provide unique experiences for visitors. Forest department officials emphasized the need for local communities to help protect habitats and wildlife to ensure the growth of ecological wealth.
