The District Collector of Wanaparthy, Tejas Nandalal Pawar, has instructed officials to put up notice boards in front of civic bodies to inform people about G.O. No 84. This G.O. requires individuals to register and regularize their notarized plots. During a virtual meeting with officials, the Collector explained that if a plot of land is smaller than 125 yards, it can be registered without any stamp charges. However, if the land is larger than 125 yards, stamp duty must be paid at the current rates, along with an additional penalty of Rs 5.

In regards to the Haritha Haram program, the Collector has urged officials to ensure that 10% of forest areas in Amarchitna and Atmakur are planted with saplings. As part of Vajrotsavam, the district aims to plant 2.5 lakh saplings and has already prepared 1000 plants for each village.
