Collector Urges Speedy Preparations for Chief Minister's Visit
The District Collector of Peddapalli, Koya Sri Harsha, has instructed officials to accelerate preparations for the upcoming public meeting where Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to address a large gathering. The event will take place on the evening of December 4. On Monday, the Collector, accompanied by TGNPDCL Managing Director Varun Reddy, inspected the arrangements near the Pedda Rangampalli substation.
Harsha emphasized the need for seamless power supply at the meeting venue, which is expected to host a crowd of one lakh people. Officials were directed to ensure proper lighting at the parking area and install transformers capable of handling the increased electrical load required for the event.
The Collector also stressed the importance of uninterrupted wiring and lighting arrangements. He instructed officials to set up additional transformers at the venue and take precautions to prevent any power outages during the program. Special attention was called to ensuring a reliable power connection for the LED screen, audio systems, and stage equipment.
Another key highlight of the event will be the distribution of job appointment documents to 9,000 candidates selected through Group 4 and other competitive exams. Harsha noted that proper arrangements must be made to accommodate not only the attendees but also loan waiver beneficiaries, women, and other participants expected at the meeting.
Several officials, including RDO Gangaiah, Commissioner Venkatesh, tahsildar Raj Kumar, and EE R&B Bhav Singh, joined the Collector during the inspection to oversee the preparations and ensure smooth execution of the event.
