Collector Urges Youth to Uphold Values at Yuva Parliament Event
Khammam District Collector Muzammil Khan stressed the importance of values in society and encouraged young people to uphold them. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Viksit Bharat Yuva Parliament at Kavitha Memorial Degree College on Wednesday.
During his speech, the Collector reminded the audience of the sacrifices made for India’s independence. He emphasized the role of youth in protecting democracy and urged them to vote responsibly and engage in politics.
Several officials and faculty members attended the event, including Kota Appireddy, Kondapalli Sriram, N Srinivasa Rao, K Bhanu Chander, and Dr. KV Ramanarao.
Participants from Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Mahabubabad districts took part in a debate on the “One Nation, One Election” concept. While most supported the idea, some raised concerns about administrative challenges.
The event highlighted the increasing awareness of governance and democracy among young people.
