Gadwal: District Collector Plans for Grand Republic Day Celebrations
District Collector B.M. Santosh has directed officials to make detailed and careful arrangements for the successful celebration of Republic Day in the district.
On Monday, the Collector held a preparatory meeting with officials from all departments at the IDOC conference hall. The meeting focused on planning the Republic Day events and ensuring smooth execution without any issues. Department-specific instructions were given to ensure every detail is handled properly.
The Collector highlighted the need for strong coordination between departments for the seamless organization of the celebrations. The main event is scheduled to take place at the Police Parade Ground. Officials were instructed to ensure proper arrangements for the stage and seating areas. Additionally, stalls showcasing government welfare and development programs will be set up at the venue.
To add to the festivities, the Collector emphasized the importance of cultural performances by students to promote national pride. He also stressed following proper protocol for inviting guests to the event. A medical team will be deployed at the venue for emergencies to ensure the safety of attendees.
All officials were urged to carry out their responsibilities efficiently to guarantee the event’s success. The Collector made it clear that every effort should be made to make the Republic Day celebrations grand and memorable.
The meeting was attended by Additional Collectors Lakshmi Narayana and Narsing Rao, RDO Srinivas Rao, and various district-level officials.
