District Collector G Ravi Nayak and his wife Kunandini celebrated the New Year with orphan and disabled children at Shanti Vanam and Sannidhi Ashrams in Yenugonda. The Collector pledged to support these children under the Red Cross and cut a cake with them. He also distributed fruits, sweets, and blankets. The visit aimed to strengthen the bond between the district administration and efforts for the welfare of orphaned children.
The District Collector praised the generosity of donors who have contributed to the development of the orphanages. He also commended the work being done for visually impaired, deaf, and mute individuals at the Red Cross orphanage. The District Collector recognized the dedication of donors, orphanage managers, and teachers who serve the children selflessly. He assured continued cooperation from the district administration in the development of the orphanages.
The District Collector encouraged individuals with disabilities to see their conditions as challenges to overcome. He urged them to pursue education with determination and strive for excellence. He emphasized that everyone has the potential to prove their worth.
