Nagarkurnool: Ensuring Farmers Benefit from PM-KISAN Scheme

Nagarkurnool District Collector, Badavath Santosh, has called for efforts to ensure that all eligible farmers in the district benefit from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. This scheme is designed to provide financial support to small and marginal farmers across the country.

Speaking at a meeting organized by the District Agriculture Department on Thursday at the Nagarkurnool Collectorate, the Collector explained the purpose of the PM-KISAN scheme. He mentioned that the scheme provides ₹6,000 annually to farmer families owning cultivable land. The financial aid, given in three installments of ₹2,000 each, is meant to help farmers manage agricultural expenses and household needs.
