    Nagar Kurnool: District Collector Badavath Santosh conducted a surprise visit to a Primary Health Center (PHC) in Pedda Muddanur, located in Nagarkurnool Mandal, on Thursday. During his visit, he asked the medical staff to make the best use of the available government infrastructure and to provide better services to the public.

    The collector spoke to the patients at the center, asking where they were from and if they were getting the right treatment. He also visited the pharmacy section to check if all the necessary medicines were in stock. He reminded the medical staff to always report on time and treat patients politely.

    While inspecting the PHC, the collector was happy with the building, facilities, and infrastructure. He encouraged the staff to use these resources fully. He also asked about the number of outpatients (OP) coming in daily and suggested that ASHA workers visit homes to inform people about the medical services available.

    The collector also reviewed the staffing situation at the PHC. He checked medical records and looked at registers related to deliveries, vaccinations, and immunizations. He stressed the importance of keeping records updated with no gaps. Given the rise in fever cases, he instructed the staff to conduct mandatory tests for patients showing signs of fever.
