    Nagar Kurnool: Farewell for Dr. K. Sudhakar Lal and Welcome for Dr. Swarajya Lakshmi

    District Collector Badavath Santosh attended as the chief guest at a special event. The ceremony was held to bid farewell to Dr. K. Sudhakar Lal and to welcome Dr. Swarajya Lakshmi as the new District Medical and Health Officer.

    Dr. K. Sudhakar Lal served as the District Medical and Health Officer of Nagarkurnool district for eight years. During his tenure, he provided exceptional services.

    At the event, District Collector Badavath Santosh praised Dr. K. Sudhakar Lal for his significant contributions. He highlighted Dr. Lal’s coordination of doctors and staff and the successful implementation of various health programs. The collector mentioned that while transfers are common, the services rendered by Dr. Lal will always be remembered.

    Additional SP Rameshwar also spoke at the event. He appreciated Dr. Lal’s constant efforts to ensure medical services reached the people.

    Dr. Swarajya Lakshmi, the new District Medical and Health Officer, expressed her desire to continue her unique style of work in Serilingampally district, just as she did in Nagarkurnool. She aims to win the hearts of the people in her new role.

    In his speech, Dr. K. Sudhakar Lal thanked everyone for their support over the past eight years. He mentioned that Nagarkurnool district achieved a top position in implementing health department programs. He felt privileged to serve the people, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Lal extended his gratitude to the District Collector, officials, medical staff, public representatives, and all the people.

    The event concluded with a grand farewell ceremony led by the District Collector.

    The program was attended by several notable figures, including Medical College Principal Dr. Ramadevi, Nursing College Principal Gausia, Deputy DMHO Dr. Venkat Das, and many others.
